Discover What A High Performance PC Is All About

Don't you just hate a slow PC? And when you start getting error messages that mean absolutely nothing to you, don’t they make you worry that something ‘not good’ is happening to your PC? These nail-biting moments can be prevented you know.

RegCure is the industry’s leading Windows registry cleaner software. The Windows registry is a complicated database that regulates hardware, device drivers, software applications that you install and use, users who have access to your PC and each of their preferences on your computer, and more! In short, anything and everything you do on your PC affects your Windows registry so it really is no surprise that it gets bogged down (we call it normal PC wear and tear).

Left unchecked, a burdened Windows registry will cause applications to produce error messages and make your PC slow down, freeze, and eventually crash.

RegCure will help you prevent all these scenarios. With its advanced registry cleaning technology, it will scan, diagnose and fix all erroneous Windows registry entries, leaving you with nothing but a highly-optimized PC. And all that in under 2 minutes!

Now, don’t you want a super-fast PC? Aren’t the files on your computer worth protecting?

Gaming In a World That Frowns On Gamers…

Filed under: Gaming — Derek @ 12:16 pm

If your a gamer, like myself, you feel looked down on. Specifically by adults, anyone 15-20 years older than yourself. They think that we are worthless, lazy, good for nothing slobs. And to a few gamers, yes, that is very true. But the majority of us are productive, hard working and “up right” citizens. I’m sorry that after a hard day I like to sit down and play a game that lets me take the stress and angst of the day to another world.

And in the last decade we have a lot of media and politicians that are trying to make gaming in general out to be the down fall of our civilization. Violent games were to blame for Columbine, and countless other atrocities. Did these people ever take a history or psychology class? The Romans had gladiatorial games. And just not at the Arena, some of the rich civilians would pay the fighting schools and have the gladiators fight in there homes during parties! And that “was” the golden age of Enlightenment?

To me the Politicians and the Media need to grow up and look at their selves and the way the schools and the parents aren’t doing their jobs. I grew up playing Doom. I didn’t go out and shoot the school up because I was being picked on. No I got on the Sega Genesis and shot the demons and monsters. But also, my parents also taught me at a very young age that there was a difference between the two worlds. And that if i shot a real person, they most likely wouldn’t be ok.

And I don’t know how some one can call gaming childish. The gaming industry is a multi-billion dollar powerhouse. The leader in new technology. Some of the games have better story lines than most novels and movies.

And with companies like Nintendo making systems that anyone can use like the Wii. Its bringing in more people to our side.

I just can’t wait for the time that everyone has a console system in their home. And the that the past time that i choose is finally not the scape goat for a stupid fed or reporter to make a mockery of, Because of their own failure.

Alienware ALX Gaming Rig…Beautiful, but is it worth it?

Filed under: Alienware, Gaming — Derek @ 8:35 am

If you can build your own desktop, then you may want to just move on…

the newest edition to alienware computers is a beautiful piece of machinery, on the inside and out. but at a price… configured it would probably cost you around $5800, and around $5000 if you set it up yourself. And with everything there are pros and cons… With this unit though i think the pros out weigh the cons.

PROS: 1.This beast will play any game you install, including the much anticipated Unreal Tournament 3 and Crysis. 2. Since its Alienware you know your getting a system with unmatched performance. 3. Alienware support

CONS: 1. Hot and Loud. 2. The 32 bit Vista wont support the 4GB of ram. 3. And last but not least, literally, is the price tag on this beast…

SPECS:

Intel Core 2 Extreme Processor @ 3.0GHz (OC’d to 3.33GHz w/ Liquid Cooling)
4GB DDR2 800MHz MHz SDRAM
2 x 768MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800 Ultra GDDR3 in SLI
Optional Blu-Ray Drive/Burner
Up to 4TB Hard Drive over 2xRAID 03DMark06 Scores
Overall: 15856 (97th Percentile)
SM 2.0: 6366
HDR/SM 3.0: 7323
CPU Score: 4480

But if you don’t really want to take the time into building a comp that you could easily make for around $3000, thats not including the BluRay drive, and easily over clock yourself…But if your looking for a Desktop that could easily play any game that will come out in the next few years and never worry about if it will handle it. And the 60fps isn’t bad either. And your also paying for the awesome Alienware CS. They give special discounts to their customers on upgrading their systems. And they also will do a clean up on the system to make it run even smoother…
