Yahoo Search Better Customer Satisfaction?

Filed under: Google, Portals, Search, Yahoo — Derek @ 7:58 pm

In a recent Survey which was conducted by the University of Michigan’s American Customer Satisfaction Index, for the first time Yahoo has Beat Google in Customer Satisfaction.

In the report conducted Yahoo’s Score rose 3.9 percent from last years report bringing them up to 79, while Google’s Score fell 3.7 percent to 78!

Now of course there is a downside to this and that is the fact that the report looked at two major factors which were portal’s and the search engines. Google clearly leads the way when it comes to Search and is not a portal, while, Yahoo has the leading portal and the second strongest search engine currently.  So because of Yahoo’s portal strength they have rose to be beat Google for the first time according to the survey.
